The CMS Quality Framework
The CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) Quality Framework is used to clarify the CMS perspectives and expectations regarding the quality of community services and supports financed by Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services program. The CMS’s Quality Factors and Desired Outcomes directly link to the courses, lessons and management, and human resource tools that make up the CDS and CFSM programs.
This Crosswalk document shows how the courses, management tools, human resources and surveys of the CDS address the focus and desired outcomes of the CMS Quality Framework.
