Message From CDS National Director
Many thanks for your interest in The College of Direct Support!
On behalf of the CDS team, I want to thank you for exploring our site. We hope you will visit often to read the latest Partner Profiles, Evaluation Briefs and articles that showcase leading practices in community-based supports and workforce development.
The landscape of learning is changing at a rapid pace. When the College of Direct Support was merely a dream, we were hopeful to make it available on a CD-ROM that would self implode in one year! The reason: because so often states and agencies are using antiquated training materials that have outlived their usefulness. It has always been the goal of CDS to provide a learning gateway that is contemporary, relevant, challenging and raises the standard of excellence in community-based support services.
As we enter our fourth year, we look forward to expanding curricula, advancing technology and supporting an ever-growing and diverse end-user population. I look forward to your comments, suggestions and great ideas.
